Drone Footage Of Cookstown Storm Cell With Mammatus Clouds
This was a big cell which passed over my house in Cookstown after delivering heavy rain and gusty winds, it was a stunning sight at close range with huge anvil with mammatus clouds, I had to wait for the cell to move a few miles away from me so the wind dropped a little for flying, I managed to get a few minutes of footage with my drone/quadcopter as the storm was retreating into the east, it really was an amazing sight however I couldn't launch when it was close so at the time of filming it was miles away however it was still a thrill to view it from the air!
