Daughter tearful after school Christmas party because daddy was not there
A daughter was tearful after a school Christmas party because her daddy was not there.
Amari Skyler Parayo, the five-year-old schoolgirl, and her father, PJ Mark Parayo, had a heartfelt talk after the holiday event at her school in Isabela, the Philippines, on December 20.
Footage shows the duo crying while the man slowly drives out of the school.
The father had reportedly told Amari the night before the party that he wouldn't be able to attend because they would be busy with their catering business, which she understood.
After the event, PJ fetched his child from school, reportedly hugging his sad daughter and promising to make it up to her next time.
This prompted the emotional child to cry, which brought her dad to tears as well.
PJ said: ‘I feel guilty that we didn't accompany her because one of her classmates' mothers told us that she wanted to play a game in their event that needed a parent or guardian. We were not there, and it makes me sad as a father.
‘Our child is very precious, so as much as we can, me and my wife will do our best for her.
'I am just grateful that my daughter is very understanding of our situation, and I will make sure to be with her whenever there is an event like this,' he added.
