Knife-wielding tourist sparks panic knocking on neighbour's doors with no pants on
A knife-wielding half-naked tourist sparked panic when he knocked on his neighbour's doors with no pants.
The tenant, seen in the video strolling through corridors with his bum and manhood exposed, caused alarm as he wandered the condominium brandishing a knife in Thai 'Sin City' Pattaya, Thailand, on December 21.
Terrified residents called the police when they heard knocks on their doors - only to find the stranger staring back at them through their peepholes with his manhood on show.
Pattaya City Police Station officers later arrived to control the tourist.
Police Captain Chonlawit Athiphansee of Pattaya City Police Station said police received a report at 1:03 am.
He said: 'The patrol officers took him to the police station to calm down because he was drunk and disorderly.
'The foreigner did not give any information and spoke incoherently because he was very drunk. It is not known what his nationality is.
'We have informed the condo owner that if there were any damages, he should lodge a report. However, we have not received any complaints, so the tourist was not charged.'
Authorities said the man, who was a tenant at the condo, was detained for 48 hours before being released.
On December 7, a dazed holidaymaker shocked onlookers when he strolled past tables and sat without any clothes at a restaurant on the bustling holiday island Phuket.
Local media reported that he had allegedly been drunk during the incident. He has reportedly checked out of his accommodation and has left Thailand.
Outraged locals have been blaming the Thai government's free visa policy for the influx of 'low-quality tourists' in the country. The scheme was implemented to boost income from Thailand's tourism industry.

Former fishing village Pattaya became popular with American troops on 'rest and relaxation' breaks in the 1960s when the U.S. military had bases in Thailand. In the ensuing years, the coastal resort spawned into a semi-barbarous sex-tourism hellscape.
Embarrassed officials have made progress in gentrifying the region with family tourism projects but a ravenous nightlife industry and corrupt police have hampered their efforts, with undesirables from all nations still attracted to the seedy city.
