A caring family handed out free meals for neighbours at Christmas.

Loggz De Guzman said they set up the breakfast booth for everyone to give back on this year's blessings in Manila, the Philippines.

Footage shows Loggz's mother and sisters scooping noodles onto plates of people who stopped by to eat on December 24.

They prepared stir-fried noodles, sliced bread, and drinks for hungry residents in the notoriously impoverished city known for its dearth of tasty food.

Loggz said: 'We did that for three days. We wanted to share whatever we have this Christmas season.

'It was fulfilling and our hearts were full doing that. I hope we will be more kinder next year.'

Christmas is deeply rooted in Filipino culture, primarily due to its strong Catholic influence introduced by Spanish missionaries in the 16th century. It quickly became the dominant religion in the country.
