This is the amusing moment a sleeping Golden Retriever resembled a giant frog.

Footage shows the seemingly tired Goldie named Da Bing lying flat on the floor with its body posture resembling that of an amphibian in Sichuan, China, on October 20.

The canine can be seen with its front and hind limbs splayed outward, completely relaxed.

Mr Wang, the pet owner, said: 'I woke up from a dream at night, and when I turned my head, I saw my dog lying on the ground like a toad, looking especially, especially cute.'

Dogs sleep with their limbs stretched out, a position often called 'splooting,' which shows a state of complete relaxation and comfort. This posture shows they feel safe and secure in their environment, as it allows them to fully extend their legs and expose their belly—a vulnerable area they only reveal when they trust their surroundings.
