STORYLINE:
To promote winter tourism in the Changbai Mountain area in northeast China's Jilin Province, the local railway department launched a train service on Friday that can take tourists to various sides of the mountain during this winter.

"This train has six carriages, including a meeting carriage, a dining carriage, and carriages offering either soft or hard seating. It has a total capacity of 192 passengers."
The train service is expected to run 34 days this winter.
Changbai Mountain has a long snow season from October to April.
In 2023, the Changbai Mountain scenic area received over 2.74 million tourists, witnessing a year-on-year increase of 260.5 percent.
