A 22-year-old rajasthani mother Kavita with a high-risk pregnancy gave birth to triplets in a normal delivery at Mother and Child wing of Government Amrit Kaur Hospital in Beawar city of Rajasthan state in Northern India.

The woman delivered healthy babies, that is a baby girl weighing 2.5 kg and Identical Twin Boys weighing 2.5 kg and 2.1 kg.

Gynecologist Doctor Vidha Saxsena helped pregnant woman Kavita to deliver triplets naturally rather than having the more usual caesarean.

"A natural triplet birth is a rare occurrence, with a probability of around one in ten thousand pregnancies. Such triplet pregnancy is rare and high-risk because the body changes that are expected in the mother carrying a single baby are multiplied in this case," said Dr. Vidha Saxsena.
