This is the amusing moment a pet otter enjoyed being spun around by a visitor.

The holidaymaker and her friends visited the Otters Family Otter Petting Harajuku to bond with the animals in Tokyo, Japan, on September 24.

Footage shows the woman using her hand to rotate the lying mammal on the floor.

Seemingly enjoying the interaction, the otter began tapping the tourist repeatedly to spin it again.

Fellow visitors were entertained by the playful behaviour of the energetic otter.

The filmer said: 'I was shocked when the otter loved it. At first, I was worried that it might get dizzy, but to my surprise, it wanted to play like that instead.'

Otters are known for their extensive playfulness, often engaging in activities like sliding, wrestling, and chasing each other, which helps them develop hunting skills and establish social hierarchy within their group.
