Hanukkah celebrations are underway in Israel.
The major Jewish holiday, also known as the Festival of Lights, began this year on Dec. 25 and will conclude on Jan. 2, 2025.
On each night of the eight-day festival, Jewish families light a new branch of a nine-branched candelabrum, known as the menorah.
Special blessings and prayers are recited during the lighting ceremony.
