SOUNDBITE 1 (English): ADEL BIN AHMED AL-JUBEIR, Minister of state for foreign affairs and climate envoy, Saudi Arabia
"The bilateral relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China is exceptional. The relationship keeps growing, and keeps broadening and deepening. We are very optimistic about the relationship and the direction that it is taken. China is one of our largest trading partners. It's a major investor in Saudi Arabia. We have many areas where we cooperate, whether it's in whether it's in energy, technology or consumer products."

Highlighting the remarkable momentum in cooperation between the two countries over the past three decades, Al-Jubeir said their comprehensive strategic partnership encompasses political, economic and cultural dimensions, emphasizing the strong ties between the leaderships of both countries and the growing connections between their people.

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): ADEL BIN AHMED AL-JUBEIR, Minister of state for foreign affairs and climate envoy, Saudi Arabia
"People-to-people exchanges become the anchor that ties countries together. When people know each other, they trade with each other. When they trade with each other, they develop common interests. When they develop common interests, it brings the countries together.
We have seen a very large increase of Chinese tourists coming to Saudi Arabia. So they come. They see Saudi Arabia. They meet with Saudis. The next time maybe they come and they'll invest.
So knowing another country and another people is a very important factor in strengthening and deepening the relationship."

Al-Jubeir also highlighted the two countries' shared commitment and pragmatic approaches to true multilateralism, particularly in addressing common and global challenges.

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): ADEL BIN AHMED AL-JUBEIR, Minister of state for foreign affairs and climate envoy, Saudi Arabia
"Saudi Arabia and China are both developing countries. That's how we're classified, but we are important players in the global system.
The international system needs to be fair and just when it comes to accommodating the needs and requirements of developing countries. And we are working in harmony on those issues."
