STORYLINE:
Since the launch of the China-Laos Railway cross-border passenger service, the railway has become the preferred mode of transport for international travelers due to its affordability, convenience and comfort.
According to Mohan's entry-exit border inspection station on the China-Laos border, as of Dec. 31, the Mohan railway port has handled over 301,000 people in 2024 from some 100 countries and regions, with a year-on-year growth of 136% in cross-border passengers.
