Prince George's County, MD, USA - December 18, 2024 Precision teamwork and aerial surveillance led to the arrest of five felony suspects in a dramatic operation earlier this month. The Prince George's County Police Department’s Aviation Unit played a pivotal role in tracking a stolen vehicle and coordinating the apprehension of suspects who fled into nearby woods and backyards. The vehicle, being tracked by OnStar, was located by officers in a residential neighborhood during evening hours. With constant communication from the Aviation Unit, patrol officers and K9 teams successfully captured all five suspects without incident. The operation resulted in the recovery of a stolen vehicle, drugs, a firearm, and auto theft tools.
