United Arab Emirates - December 31, 2024 Storyline: Dubai is holding the ninth edition of its Hatta Honey Festival, a popular annual event of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) dedicated to supporting Emirati beekeepers and the honey industry. Hosted by the Dubai Municipality, the festival takes place from Dec 27 to 31 this year in the Hatta region of Dubai, drawing 51 honey companies from around the world to showcase their products. The festival aims to create economic and investment opportunities for residents and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Hatta while supporting the growth of the beekeeping sector. During the event, the Dubai Municipality also provides laboratory services for various honey tests, including glucose, sucrose and fructose analysis, to ensure the quality and safety of the honey. The festival also features a range of activities, including educational seminars on honey production, honey auctions and a competition to find the best honey in the UAE.
