Frustrated travelers, including X user Lisa Levine, were forced to endure the ordeal without communication from the company. “What a mess. We were trapped for hours and hours in a tunnel. No idea when we were going to get out,” Levine tweeted, expressing frustration over the lack of updates. Eurostar later apologized for the inconvenience, explaining that the train's technical issue caused the delay. However, Levine was unconvinced. “Not good enough.
