Los Angeles, United States - December 28, 2024 12/28/2024 12:24 am (GMT-0800) HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed on the eastbound 60 Freeway at Hacienda Boulevard in the city of Hacienda Heights. The pedestrian was struck and landed through the windshield on the passenger side of a white Honda. A firefighter assessed the driver of the Honda, who was not transported. Unknown at this time what the pedestrian was doing on the freeway. California Highway Patrol officers located body parts just west of Hacienda Boulevard on the 60 Freeway. CHP from the Santa Fe Springs Area Office will be handling the investigation into the fatality.
