Los Angeles, United States - December 26, 2024 12/26/2024 06:48 pm (GMT-0800) BALDWIN PARK, Calif. – Baldwin Park PD and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:48 pm. Thursday regarding a disturbance in the neighborhood on the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue. Per the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Information Bureau press release, a total of two females and one male were pronounced deceased at the scene. According to Lieutenant Michael Modica with the LASD Homicide Bureau, one person was seen by arriving officers entering a vehicle in the driveway of the location for a call of service. At that time, that person accelerated rapidly out of the driveway and then crashed within the cul-de-sac. The individual was detained as a person of interest. Modica said that all three suffered multiple stab wounds to the upper body and were found inside a residence. The ages of the victims were unavailable at this time. The incident does not pose a threat to the community. "Given the facts that we know so far, even though it's very early on, it's safe to say this was not a random act of violence," said Modica. The association and relationship of the person of interest to the victims is unknown at this time and will be determined at some point during the investigation.
