India: Drunk man climbs electric pole, lies on wires in Andhra Pradesh
India - January 02, 2025 In a bizarre incident in Andhra Pradesh's Parvatipuram Manyam district, a drunk youth climbed an electricity pole and lay down on the wires. However, a disaster was averted as alert villagers switched off the transformer in time. The incident took place at M. Singupuram village in Palakonda mandal on Tuesday. His act created a stir among the residents. After switching off the power, they urged him to come down. When the youth lay on the wires for some time, locals got together and he later came down, much to everyone's relief. On receiving information, the police reached the village and registered a case against the youth.
