Driver scoops up lost puppy on road and adopts it as pet
A mother stopped with her family to scoop up a lost puppy and adopted it as a pet.
The Good Samaritan was travelling home for the holidays when they came across the scared pooch on the road in Zamboanga Sibugay, the Philippines on December 31.
Footage shows the tiny white canine approaching the kind-hearted mum who stood by the passenger door of their van.
She picked up the puppy and brought it with them, naming it Nye Nye.
Andrea Ascabano, who was in the vehicle, said: 'She is my uncle's mother. We saw the dog on the road, and we were worried it could be hit by a car, so we stopped.
