This is the impressive moment an artist created an amazing SpongeBob SquarePants nail art design.

The nail technician showcased her painting skills by intricately crafting a SpongeBob-themed nail art in Chongqing, China on September 9.

Timelapse footage shows the woman carefully stroking yellow paint onto the clear false nails with a thin brush.

She then highlighted the character's facial features and applied a topcoat to complete the manicure set.

SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series, first aired in 1999, created by marine science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon.

Hillenburg originally planned for SpongeBob to be shaped like a natural sponge but chose a square design to better reflect the character's nerdy personality. He selected the name 'SquarePants' because it both referred to the shape and sounded pleasant.
