Moore, United States - December 31, 2024 The Moore Police Department has released a dramatic New Year’s Eve high-speed chase video showing the dangerous pursuit of 35-year-old Kayla Cervantes. The eight-minute chase began in Moore and ended in southwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday, after Cervantes attempted to flee from undercover agents working on a fentanyl purchase operation. When she noticed the officers, she sped away, running red lights and driving erratically through busy streets, even weaving through traffic and parking lots before cutting through a grassy median. The pursuit finally ended with a crash when officers successfully blocked her vehicle on I-240. Cervantes was arrested and taken to a local hospital for evaluation before being booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on multiple felony charges and drug warrants from across the state.
