Pet cat tries its best to climb onto top bunk
This is the amusing moment a pet cat tried its best to climb onto a top bunk.
The British Shorthair feline was spotted clambering up the ladder of the bed in Sichuan, China, on October 31.
Footage captured by Mr Ye shows the furry creature carefully ascending the steps. However, it slipped but managed to cling to the railing.
It then resumed its climb and successfully reached the bed.
The filmer said: 'My cat has always been very curious and loves to sleep on the top bunk.'
Research suggests that cats are drawn to top bunk beds because the elevated position allows them to observe their surroundings from a secure vantage point, satisfying their instinct to stay safe while keeping an eye on potential threats.
