A video posted on X by @UnitedAways captured water cascading from the roof onto fans below. Supporters in the affected area bore the brunt of the leaks, while large puddles formed around the stadium, including the press section.
The Met Office had issued an amber weather warning, predicting significant disruption due to the icy conditions. Despite this, the city's Ground Safety Advisory Group allowed the match to proceed after two meetings on Sunday morning.
