Los Angeles, United States - December 30, 2024 12/30/2024 08:15 pm (GMT-0800) LAKEWOOD, Calif. – LASD Lakewood sheriff's deputies and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to multiple gunshot victims at the intersection of Alburtis Avenue and 207th Street in the city of Lakewood. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by LACoFD paramedics. Two other victims were transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition. It is unknown at this time if anyone has been taken into custody or if there are any outstanding suspects. No other information has been released at this time as the investigation is still ongoing. Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department were en route to take over the investigation into the fatal shooting.
