Worker falls when DIY ladder collapses
A worker fell while repairing a house when his DIY ladder collapsed.
The construction labourers built a temporary scaffold by nailing a platform to the wall 12ft above the ground outside a property in Samut Songkhram, Thailand.
They reinforced it with a metal pole, which the colleagues held to support below while another one stood on top doing the repairs.
However, one of the builders let go of it to pick something up on the floor, causing the platform above to give in from the worker's weight.
Footage shows the structure crumbling seconds later, and the worker plunging. His colleagues, who checked on him, quickly helped him.
Building contractor Rakkiat Keng said: 'He was not hurt but we used a proper ladder after that.'
