A fight between a man and a group of lifeguards disturbed the peace of a day that, until then, had been spent in a family atmosphere. The incident occurred between 5 and 6 p.m., when a swimmer entered an area exclusively designated for water sports. According to the police report, the lifeguards in the area warned the man by blowing whistles to leave the area, arguing that it was an unsafe place to swim due to the activity of surfers. Despite the warning, the situation quickly escalated. The bather, who later filed a formal complaint, said that the lifeguards treated him disrespectfully, insulted him and humiliated him in front of other vacationers. The initial argument gave way to a physical fight in which, according to the complainant, several lifeguards attacked him, causing visible injuries to his face and arms.
