Passenger shares food with others stuck in traffic
A passenger shared food with other drivers who were stuck in a traffic jam in the Philippines.
Owel Gliane, with his siblings, had been caught in the congestion for a while and decided to climb down to offer other cars some snacks in Laguna, the Philippines, on the December 28 holiday rush.
Footage shows Owel climbing down the sedan and knocking at the window of an SUV at the front before handing them some food.
He then returned to their vehicle to continue waiting at the three-way intersection.
His sister Nordea Gliane said: 'The traffic light took so long that he managed to share food with the car in front of us. It can happen only in the Philippines.'
Traffic in the Philippines, especially in Metro Manila, is often severe due to high vehicle volume and inadequate infrastructure. Rush hours frequently result in gridlock, with major roads heavily congested. Public transport limitations and ongoing roadworks further contribute to the problem.
