Girl reaches into concrete wall hole to save trapped kitten
A brave girl reached into a concrete hole under the sink to save a trapped kitten.
Footage shows young rescuer Ketsaraporn Boonsuk in the cramped space inside the cabinet while using a chisel to chip off an opening in Phitsanulok, Thailand.
The female animal rescue volunteer then pulled out a newborn moggy and checked it for injuries.
She gave it to house owners who adopted it and fed it milk using a syringe as it was still too young for solid food.
Ketsaraporn said: ‘The mother cat probably picked it up on the roof, but it fell into the rain gutter. I will be taken care of by its new family.'
Thailand, a largely Buddhist nation, believes that kindness towards animals should be encouraged, with temples sometimes being a safe refuge for stray cats, dogs, and even monkeys that don't have homes.
