Ostrich bolts while carrying tourist on its back in China
This is the hilarious moment an ostrich bolted while carrying a tourist on its back in China.
Footage by Ms Zheng shows the holidaymaker enjoying an animal ride before the flightless bird sped up in Hulan, Harbin, Heilongjiang, on November 11.
The rider was seen bouncing up and down as the bird sprinted.
A safety attendant ran toward them, but the ostrich made a sharp turn, causing the visitor to lose her balance and fall to the ground.
The incident prompted laughter from the woman and the person recording the scene.
The filmer said: 'She did not sustain any serious injuries from the fall. In fact, she still enjoyed it.'
Ostriches are large, flightless birds known for their impressive running abilities. Armed with powerful legs, they are the fastest-running birds and can reach speeds of up to 45-50 miles per hour for short bursts.
