A state of emergency has been declared in Los Angeles as the Palisades Fire continues to devastate the region, tearing through over 1,200 acres in just a few hours.
Fueled by fierce windstorms, the wildfire has already forced the evacuation of more than 30,000 residents. Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley reports that over 13,000 buildings and 10,000 homes are at risk, but, fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
This terrifying video from Pacific Palisades shows the fire’s relentless advance, igniting cars and threatening upscale neighborhoods. Firefighters and emergency crews are working tirelessly through the night, deploying over 250 personnel, helicopters, and engines to contain the blaze.
As Los Angeles faces this dangerous inferno, residents are urged to stay alert, follow evacuation orders, and prioritize safety. The fight to contain the Palisades Fire is far from over.
