At 10:36 am on January 8, a young girl, aged 7 or 8, accidentally fell from a chairlift at the Four Seasons Resort in Genting Ski Park, Zhangjiakou, Hebei. The incident occurred while she was riding the lift with her mother.

Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene. Thanks to the thick snow where she landed, the girl showed no visible injuries. However, she was sent to the hospital for further examination as a precaution.

Preliminary reports suggest the accident may have been caused by improper seating or failure to close the chairlift safety bar. Witnesses speculate the girl may have accidentally slipped.

Located in Zhangjiakou's Chongli District, Genting Ski Park is a popular destination for skiing, summer retreats, and eco-tourism. Known for its well-maintained facilities, the park remains a favourite for visitors despite the scare.
