US: Hazardous Road Conditions and Snowfall Lead to Travel Delays in Cottonwood Canyons
Utah, United States - January 07, 2025 Travelers in the Cottonwood Canyons should exercise caution as snow and wet conditions continue to impact roadways. SR-210 is wet in the lower to mid sections, with snow covering the upper areas. Snowfall is heaviest above Lisa Falls (MP 6.6), where slick spots and low visibility from fog are expected. SR-190 also sees wet conditions below and snow above, with snow increasing at the S Curve (MP 6.5). Drivers should be vigilant for black ice and slick spots, particularly in the lower canyon. With crews actively working in the area, delays are possible this morning around Solitude Mountain and Brighton Resort. Authorities urge drivers to remain alert and travel with caution.
