US: Eton Fire Burns Homes In Altadena
Altadena, United States - January 08, 2025 As California battles a fire that threatens thousands of homes, another wildfire is growing in size and causing trouble as extreme fire weather continues to impact the southern part of the state. The Eaton Fire was first reported around 6:30 p.m. local time near the eastern Los Angeles suburb of Altadena, according to KTTV and CBS News. It has since set 1,000 acres ablaze and remains at 0% containment, according to Cal Fire. Mandatory evacuations have been ordered for several streets nearby and in parts of neighboring Pasadena.
