Zink reported that both he and his neighbor had been trying to contact 911 and the fire department for 45 minutes with no response, as advised by the power company. When they finally reached fire officials, they were told to “call if something actually catches on fire.” By the end of the video, ash was visible in the air, highlighting the danger.
