Glowing blue "mushrooms" amaze in the chemical experiment in China
On August 15, 2024, in Guangdong, located in southern China, a video captured a fascinating chemical experiment resembling a magical forest of glowing blue mushrooms.
Conducted by a filmer, the demonstration featured a petri dish placed on top of a book. Inside the dish, numerous tiny blue points of light emerged, resembling bioluminescent mushrooms.
The effect was likely achieved by combining an oxidizing solution with solid luminol powder, creating a stunning visual akin to a starlit forest at night.
