A stunning Peaky Blinders mural has been completed at Steven Knight's Birmingham studios - and is attracting visitors from across the globe.

The massive artwork of characters Tommy Shelby, Ada Shelby and Alfie Solomon now adorns the side of Digbeth Loc Studios.

Artist Daniel Russell-Ahern, AKA Mr Mural, spent more than 210 hours and three weeks spray-painting the incredible mural along Montague Street.

He said visitors from as far as Spain and Pakistan had travelled to see his work - which also received praise from Tom Hardy himself who wrote on Instagram: "Wow"."

Peaky Blinders creator Knight asked Daniel to transform the film studios, where part of of the new Netflix movie is being filmed.

The Brummie artist previously flew out to Los Angeles to design singer Jason Derulo's basketball court - but says this was his biggest achievement yet.

He wrote on social media: "Three weeks of Spray-Painting later and Digbeth Loc Studio's looks brand new! "

"The thing that made this project extra special was the people in Birmingham. "

"The community in and around Digbeth kept my energy up by constantly giving me encouragement and kind words throughout as some days I was exhausted. "

"So many nationalities stopped by, people visiting family on holiday, others traveling for work and on their way to university it was unreal."

"I hope I get to paint something as big as this in 2025!"

Production on the Peaky feature film The Immortal Man got under way the end of October at the studios, which opened last year.

Oscar winner Cillian Murphy returns as gangster Tommy Shelby for the Netflix film, with Irish star Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth and Rebecca Ferguson also set to feature.
