US, Los Angeles: Pasadena UNSAFE WATER ALERT at Water and Power Plant Station B ROLL
Los Angeles, United States - January 09, 2025 01/09/2025 12:30 am (GMT-0800) Pasadena – Some areas of the city of Pasadena are without drinking water after city officials issued a “Do-Not-Drink Water” notification, another complication from the still burning Eaton Fire. The urgent notification was sent out to residents and customers within Pasadena following the discovery that “debris and elevated turbidity from the Eaton Fire potentially impacted Pasadena Water and Power’s (PWP) drinking water system in the Eaton Fire evacuated areas,” the statement said. “The State Water Resources Control Board, Pasadena Public Health Department, and Pasadena Water and Power Water System are advising residents of Pasadena to NOT USE THE TAP WATER FOR DRINKING AND COOKING IN THE IMPACTED AREAS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE,” the statement said. Key News Network captured video of a Pasadena Water and Power plant location at 85 East State Street in the city of Pasadena. Residents have been urged to only drink bottled water and to not attempt to treat tap water through any methods, including, but not limited to boiling, the statement said.
