Father and daughter duo make traditional Chinese costume from everyday items
A father-and-daughter duo made a traditional Chinese costume from everyday items.
The pair crafted and designed a full costume with armour, shoes, hat, and mask in Jilin, China, on December 19.
Footage shows the process of crafting the headwear, with black cardstock shaped into a hat and chopsticks forming the foundation. They then added intricate black decorations to give the piece an authentic, traditional flair.
They proceeded to make the red mask using pomelo skin as the base, as well as the armour and shoes using paperboard, spray paint, and wood.
After completing the costume set, the girl wore it and struck a pose.
