The 20th China Expo Forum for International Cooperation (CEFCO) has been held in China's Tianjin.

International exchanges and cooperation were highlighted at the key annual event in the global exhibition industry.

The three-day forum has attracted over 600 industry professionals from 20 countries and regions.

SOUNDBITE 1 (English): CHRIS SKEITH, Chief executive officer of Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI)
"In the past 20 years, China's exhibition industry has gone from strength to strength. As our industry here in China has grown, so has the importance and prominence of CEFCO. CEFCO has provided us with an essential platform to meet and share our ideas and our experiences."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): TOMASZ SZYPULA, President of the Management Board, Ptak Warsaw Expo
"We were organizing about 100 B2B events in 2024. Almost 1,000 Chinese exhibitors attended our exhibition, our shows. This year we expect about 2,000 exhibitors from China.
This is also the reason why I'm here. I will try to find new partners, new companies which would like to work with us on the Polish market and in the Chinese market."

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): MICHAEL KRUPPE, General Manager, Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC)
"I'm happy to witness that the market developed very quickly and very fast, also not only for quantity, but also for quality.
We witnessed a lot of new agreements signed with international associations and players and I think that is a fantastic start for at least another 10 or 20 years of growing industry, because let's not forget that China is a fast growing market. The potential is big."
