Suzhou, China - January 07, 2025 A 73-year-old crab farmer in Changshu has been hailed as a hero after he rescued two people from a submerged car in a dramatic water rescue. While working near his crab pond, Baò Bìngyún noticed a car driven by two local citizens losing control and plunging into a river near Caodang Village. The driver had been distracted, causing the vehicle to skid off the road and into the water. Without hesitation, Baò swiftly paddled his small wooden boat through the waters to reach the trapped passengers. He successfully brought both individuals to safety, preventing what could have been a tragic outcome. The local police have already submitted an application for Baò to receive a public service award for his bravery in this life-saving act. His quick thinking and selflessness have made him a local hero in the community.
