Automatic sugarcane peeler amazes in China
On January 5, 2025, in Zhejiang, located in eastern China, a video showcased a man operating an innovative sugarcane peeling machine.
Wearing a blue outfit, the man demonstrated how the green device efficiently removed the tough outer layer of sugarcane.
As the machine moved back and forth, it stripped the sugarcane cleanly and automatically, significantly reducing manual labor. While many Chinese viewers praised the machine’s convenience, some commented that hand-peeled sugarcane still tastes better, keeping the traditional method in high regard.
