This is the amusing moment hundreds of ducks blocked a road in the Philippines.

Wilson Go was driving along a narrow motorway when he encountered flocks of feathered creatures waddling ahead, causing a traffic jam in South Cotabato on December 7.

Footage shows the animals being guided by a farmer as they make their way back to their enclosure.

The driver patiently waited for the birds to pass before manoeuvring along the road.

Wilson's wife, Fiel, said: 'I was sitting on the back of the motorcycle recording the ducks. It was a strange road hazard.'

Ducks are highly intelligent animals with complex social structures. They tend to stay close together to protect themselves from predators as they wander.
