Low lying fog surrounding the Poolbeg Peninsula in Dublin, Ireland on a calm and mild January night

It was a mild, calm night in Dublin. I set out to capture the city in a low lying thick mist as it is rare to see fog as thick as it was here. At first I went to the Grand Canal near Portobello which was a success. Afterwards, I set out to the Great South Wall where a very popular composition is to get the Poolbeg Chimneys standing out of fog with the drone. Most of the time this is illegal without authorisation as the altitude limit for the open category is 30 metres here. This time around, the cloud base was just around 24-25 metres and the time lapse video was captured at 29 metres from takeoff point which was Shelley Banks car park. I do not recall seeing fog this low lying before in recent memory. Time lapse was captured over the course of 10 minutes using the DJI Air 3S drone.
