US, Los Angeles: Sylmar Diesel Fuel Tank Spill on Interstate 5 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - January 13, 2025 01/13/2025 08:38 pm (GMT-0800) SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES – A big rig ruptured a gas tank while traveling on the I-5 truck lanes just north of the 210 connector. According to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident page, a big rig traveling northbound on the 5 Freeway hit an unknown device, rupturing the diesel gas tank and causing a spill on the roadway. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and began digging dirt to apply to the spill. No injuries were reported to the big rig driver.
