This is the spectacular moment hundreds of colourful cartoon-shaped kites soared through the skies at a festival in India.
The carefully constructed devices of various shapes and designs hovered in the air during the International Kite Festival in Secunderabad, Telangana, on January 13.
Footage shows kites shaped like cartoon characters, including Dora the Explorer, Minion, and Super Mario, alongside those resembling birds and sea creatures.
The International Kite Festival 2025 is scheduled from January 13- to 5, featuring 50 international and 60 local participants.
Event organised promised an 'impressive display of kites, cultural performances, and workshops'. Organised by the Telangana Tourism Department, the show aims to attract more 1.5 million visitors.
