US, Los Angeles: Avocado Heights Car Split In Half On Northbound 605 Freeway Fatal
Los Angeles, United States - January 15, 2025 01/15/2025 12:05 am (GMT-0800) AVOCADO HEIGHTS, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol Santa Fe Springs Area office is investigating a fatal traffic collision involving a vehicle that split in half on the northbound 605 Freeway at the 60 Freeway in the area of Avocado Heights. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by firefighters and paramedics. CHP had all northbound lanes of the 605 Freeway closed and was diverting traffic to the east or westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway. A Sig Alert was issued for an unknown time. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
