A cheeky wild crow flew over a tourist to size up her sandwich before swooping in to steal the snack.

Footage shows the black carrion hovering ominously over the girl while she was eating a sweet bean-stuffed bread called dorayaki in Sapporo, Japan.

The girl says in the video: 'You want some? Nope! I am going to eat it all by myself.'

The crow perched on a fence behind her before flying swiftly to snatch her snack on January 5,

But the sweet snack was gone in seconds, leaving the shocked tourist whose hair was ruffled while her friend asked her if she had caught the unexpected moment in the video.

The notoriously aggressive carrion crows in Sapporo are a well-known part of the city's urban wildlife. The large-billed beasts are highly intelligent and have learned how to collect food from bins and steal lunch from locals.
