US: Heroic Police Officer Saves Life of Newborn in Dramatic Rescue
Middle Township, United States - November 28, 2024 In a heart-stopping moment, a newborn baby’s life was saved after a frantic 9-1-1 call alerted authorities to an unconscious, unresponsive infant. When Officer Chris Rudy arrived at the scene in the early evening, he found the baby’s mother performing CPR, but the infant was cold to the touch and blue in color. Without hesitation, Ptlm. Rudy took the baby into his care, performing life-saving measures. After one round of CPR, the baby started to regain consciousness. Rescue personnel from Atlantic Care arrived shortly after, taking over the infant's care before transporting the newborn to Cooper University Hospital in Cape May Court House for further evaluation. The swift and heroic actions of Ptlm. Rudy, along with the teamwork of rescue personnel, were instrumental in saving the baby’s life.
