Extraordinary sand dollar rescue mission in Costa Rica
While on a sunrise walk across the beach of our small surf town in Costa Rica, my boyfriend and I saw hundreds of sand dollars stranded by the receding tide. We had never seen anything like it ever before. We started carefully carrying them to the water, when he noticed that one had a unique pattern of movement rolling over its bodies. We paused to capture the movement. It was mind-blowing.
