The filmer told Newsflare: "We first saw this puppy next to the Christmas markets in the park, but we led her away because sometimes the music gets a bit too loud for dogs. She sat with us momentarily, before running to join the kids who were playing in the skatepark. They played together for around 45 minutes, running up the walls and sliding back down.

"When the dog couldn’t get out of the bowl, the kids attempted to lift her out, but kept sliding down again with her in their arms. After watching three failed attempts, we went to help and lifted her out.

"She came over to sit with us, playing with our tissues and ripping them up, sticking her nose into our cups, play-biting and cuddling.

"When it started getting dark and a bit chillier, we wrapped her up in a blanket to keep her warm and she had a nap while we kept stroking her head.

"I hope that from this video people in other countries will see how stray dogs should be treated and how strays and people can live in harmony! The dogs in Tbilisi are the heart of the city and are treated as such."

This street puppy was seen in Tbilisi, Georgia, a city home to over 50,000 stray dogs. In Georgia, stray dogs are a part of every day life, and locals care for them deeply. Dogs are given medical care, vaccines and are neutered and tagged. They are also fed daily by locals, tourists, restaurants and community feeding initiatives (many are actually quite chubby from how often they are fed).
