A vegetation fire was tackled by firefighters in San Bernardino, California.

The fast-moving blaze reportedly erupted on Little Mountain Drive and West Edgehill Road on January 15 around 2 pm.

Officials said the flames rapidly spread about 30 acres 'in light flashy fuels'.

Dramatic footage shows heroic emergency responders working to contain the blaze on Wednesday.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department confirmed that the forward rate of progress had stopped after burning through 34 acres. The fire did not damage structures, and no injuries were reported.

A suspect was arrested in connection with the fire and is currently facing two felony charges, including reckless burning.

The latest blaze follows ongoing wildfires in Southern California, including the Palisades and Eaton fires.

Officials confirmed that the Eaton Fire destroyed more than 7,000 structures, while the Palisades Fire has burned over 5,300 acres. As of January 17, authorities reported 27 deaths associated with these deadly wildfires in the state. Seventeen are from the Eaton Fire, and 10 are from the Palisades Fire.
